Sophie Andrea - Founder
Hello! My name is Sophie, and I am the founder of DialogueBooks.org. I have been reading books for as long as I can remember, and have fallen deeply in love with more books than I can count!
Since I was a little girl, I would always beg my parents to read a book to me before bed. I simply could not go to sleep without that soothing feeling of a nighttime story to enjoy. My parents would always read to me before bed until I was able to read to myself before drifting off into sleep.
Sometimes, the books would be real page-turners, and I would end up staying up for hours just hoping to find out more.
When I went to college, my passion for reading stayed with me. Instead of going out and spending money on partying, I would spend my money on new books. Why would I spend money on a fleeting moment when I could spend money on a book that I would never ever forget?
Through college, I picked up some extra cash for my book addiction by working in a local bookshop, but I have continued to work there even after graduating. There is something just so calming about being around books, and I can’t seem to take myself away from them!
While I work as a bookstore clerk, I also work on my own writing as I dream of being a published author myself one day.
At my current job, I am able to find new authors, pick up tips, and provide others with recommendations and encourage them to read some of our excellent offerings.
With this site, I hope that you can find a novel to get you out of a reading slump, or to get you hooked on a series. So, pick up one of our recommendations today. I promise you that you won’t regret it!

Hey, my name is Ellouise, and Sophie is my sister. Sophie has always been a bookworm, so much so that we used to call her the Book Whisperer growing up. As I got older, I realized the power that books can have.
You can learn so much through books and some of these spectacular stories stay with you for life. When I was younger, Sophie handed down her set of Harry Potter books to me.
The world of magic and wizardry just enthralled me, and I spent hours getting through as many pages as possible to finish the story quicker. Since then, I have shared her love of books, and we often swap recommendations and books between one another.
When she told me about her idea to create this site, I knew she had found her calling. I wanted to help in any way that I could.
Having often read her hand-me-downs, I have picked up many great books over the years, and am always looking for the next big story to add to my reading list. If you’re the same type of person, then you will love what we have to share in our articles.
Here at DialogueBooks.org, we can share those recommendations with you, and create our own community of like minded book worms and bibliophiles!
